Polycrisis

This is just a note to remind me of some of the things that have gone wrong with the world recently. Apparently there are enough that I struggle just to keep track of them.

• Climate. Extensive wildfires, flooding, deadly heat.
• Brexit
• Destruction of UK public services, especially the NHS
• Transphobic and misogynistic campaigns throughout the US, UK, Poland, …
• General rise of fascism.
• Economy - inflation, people getting poorer.
• Migrant deaths in the Med, and elsewhere. That which is pushing them.
• Covid
• Invasion of Ukraine (by a nuclear power).
• Palestinian genocide (by a nuclear power).
• General unease between China, Taiwan, the US.

For some reason my friends seem to be getting more stressed and unhappy recently.
